Real-time results
Once a question has ended (i.e., polling from the audience has ceased), results are displayed over the presentation in any number of forms such as a bar graph, pie chart, etc. These results are compiled from all participating audience members, even distant videoconferenced sites.
Improve attentiveness
As results for a question are displayed in real-time, audience members get immediate feedback about whether they chose the correct answer or how many other audience members chose the same response, along with how many audience members chose different responses.
Gather data for reporting and analysis
Unlike other forms of audience participation, such as a show of hands or response cards, results are recorded by the software and can be formulated into a report. This data can be analyzed over time and can be used for educational research or other forms of analysis.
