ARS can be requested by faculty who teach in the MD Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Medicine (FoM) program staff, and FoM event organizers.
MD Undergraduate students are following the “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) model using a web-based polling application accessed via the students’ smartphones, tablets, laptops or any Wifi web-enabled device.
For other FoM events, AV technicians provide ARS training to presenters in advance of the event. Voting devices are loaned to the presenter and are returned to MedIT once the event is over. If the FoM event does not conflict with an MD Undergraduate session, the BYOD model may be used for that event. AV technicians will provide BYOD ARS training in advance of the event.
